4th of July with Heart and some friends

HAPPY 4th OF JULY!!!

This year for the 4th we went to a parade. The kids had a blast, the heat was almost unbearable, but we still had a blast.

We got to go to a fun little parade and then ride some rides at a cute little carnival. The kids had so much fun watching the parade and just spending time together.

We went to some friends house and the kids had a blast on their slip and slid.

Don't you just love how no matter where you are at or whether or not your kids know anyone. If there are kids around they will always have a blast!

They don't care what they look like, they just introduce themselves and say..."You wanna play?" and it's go time. I just love how easy it is for them.

Then we got home, got the kids in their jammies and  took them over to a friends house and Anthony and I took the metro downtown to the Arch to go watch a free concert and who did we see...?  Well who do you think, HEART! It was awesome! Heart playing right under the arch, thousands of fans singing and dancing, we were as close as we could get and totally Rocked the night away.

As soon as they finished their last song the fireworks started over the Mississippi River, we took off and headed to the train as fast as we could to beat the crowd. We got there just in time to catch the train and miss the huge rush from the Cardinals game.

It was a really great 4th of July. Man we are really enjoying our time here in St. Louis!
