A Lot of Catch up!

Alright so it's been a VERY long time since I blogged last, things have been crazy, in a good sort of way for once. There are lots of photo's but I Picasso'ed them so it wouldn't be such a long post, along with a brief update.

First things first, We bought a Mini Van, after about a year of research and 6months of looking, we found this beauty, it is a 2001 Toyota Sienna and it's gorgeous, with only 86,000 and no scratches on it, I can't believe how blessed we were to find this steal!
Along with the new car, we had to sell our Subey, it was truly a sad day, but we sold it for 5,500 in Spokane while we visited Anthony's sister, She's a genius and suggested we try selling it their because there is a higher need for them and she was right, we sold it for exactly what we asked for, not a penny less! Thanks Alethea!
We Also had some other sort of fun, London became Micheal Phelps, and The boy's got their own personal Card Board Box Slide. Life doesn't get much better then that!

While we were in Coeur d'alene we spent Easter Weekend with family, with 6 kids total they all had a blast. Between snow and hail shower's the kids got to bundle up and go Easter Egg hunting. With some help from the older kids, were pretty sure that all the eggs were obtained.

We were planning on meeting some of our Amazing friends the following weekend, So the kids and I decided to stay for the week, while Anthony headed back with his Brother and Sister-in-law to go back to work, and then meet us up their the following week. Our Amazing Friends and old neighbors, the Harpers came up on Friday with their darling little boy Miles Jr. yup that's right our little Miles already has a namesake. We had a blast, we went down to the lake, made some sand angles, flew kites, said Yes to a little Crack a big fat yes to some tastey Ice cream. It was so much fun. We are so glad they were able to make it!

Next came the Mechams, who also used to be neighbors, Anthony and J.C. have been really good friends for a long time, so it was a lot of fun seeing them and little Issac. We went hiking, went back to the lake and again stopped at the resort to enjoy another Gooey(Ice Cream), the things are huge!! and the view amazing! It was so great of everybody to come up and visit, we will miss you guys, but are planning a trip to Nauvoo, perhaps next year! It is so great to have such amazing friends! We love all you guys! and a HUGE thank you to Alethea and Rob for putting up with us and our friends for so long, you guys are the Greatest!

When got back we barley had time to unpack things get them washed and then back on the road again, this time up to my parents house in Bellingham, to go and see the British Columbia Temple, the open house was going on so we packed all of us up along with Anthony's Brother, Sister-in-law, and their little girl, We all fit, in with the kiddo's in the back and we made the short 2hr drive to my parents house!

When we got their my Mom wanted me to take some pictures of her Amazing Garden. Her tulips and daffodils were in bloom, and her apple trees where blossoming, it was a sight to see, my parent's are gardener extraordinaire. I love going their in the spring time.

We also got to visit with my parents, whom I am discovering are amazing Grandparents, they are so active with the kids, and always are getting them involved with what they are doing, the boy's never watch movies at my parents house because they are too busy playing and exploring outside. They went in our backwoods and hiked around a bit, London was in heaven, and Miles even got in some Pool action. Needless to say it's never boring at their house, with no Cable or Internet it's a great place to go and get away from the world.

Monday morning we woke up and got on our way, it's only a 10min drive to the Canadian Border and about 20 min to the temple from there. This temple will be in my parents district, so they have had many opportunities to help out with the open house, and were also invited to attend the dedication at the temple, seriously what a honor!
We got their and it was beautiful! I don't even know what more to say, and the most incredible thing about the open house, is EVERYONE is welcome regardless of your religion. It was so beautiful and so amazing to stand in the sealing room with my little family and to be able to see for eternity, and then to quietly wait in the celestial room, my heart was over joyed with the since of a Very Loving Heavenly Father. It was so special to be their with my husband and 2 little boy's!
After going to the Temple we went to the Wave pool, which was always a favorite as a child. On the way back we got stopped at the boarder and asked to get out of the car and wait to be questioned. It was pretty uneventful they asked a few questions and then let us back in our car. Strange, but never a dull moment at the boarder.

How does it feel to be a mom with a minivan? Do you realize you have just taken this huge life changing step? :) I hope I'm right behind you. The butt crack picture cracks me up, not punn intended. :)

Anyway, I hope you are doing great! I need to call you so we can chat.
P.S. Thanks to your awesome example I am reading "White Fang" to my boys. They really like it.
